Het állermooiste designmerk op aarde heeft ontwerpen gemaakt voor het állervoordeligste woonwarenhuis op aarde en dat moet ik echt even laten zien. We moeten even wachten tot oktober, maar dan staat alle pracht en praal in de winkels, voor een mooi prijsje…
Ik heb me voorgenomen om niet ál teveel mooie producten meer voorbij te laten komen hier op de blog want kopen, kopen, kopen, daar raken onze huisjes zo vol van (en opruimen is een pain in the ass). In plaats daarvan laat ik alleen nog het állermooiste zien (en adviseer ik alleen nog maar te kopen, kopen, kopen als je daarmee je leven echt een beetje mooier maakt en niet alleen maar drukker). In mijn geval zijn dat meestal handige tools voor in de keuken (ik ben onlangs vriendjes geworden met een nieuwe mandoline snijder en we eten alleen nog maar perfecte schijfjes en staafjes) én mooie meubeltjes. Beide nemen al snel veel ruimte in beslag, dus voor mij is het vandaag vooral kijken, kijken, kijken en níet kopen. Maar daar kan ik ook heel erg van genieten.
Anyway, voordat ik écht ga side-tracken, hier zijn mijn favoriete designs van HAY voor IKEA:
Zie hier, de mooiste slaapbank die je ooit hebt gezien. Én een paar hele leuke salontafeltjes. Ik weet niet helemaal hoe je het noemt, dit soort pootjes (retro bloempot pootjes?) maar ik hou ervan. Stiekem heb ik al een hele poos een ander salontafeltje van HAY op het oog (en die gaat er ook écht komen zodra ik onze oude via MP heb verkocht. Ik vind die van hierboven net een beetje te klein en net een beetje teveel zwart (als die bladen nou lichtroze waren geweest…).
Sorry, mag ik even, maar DIE SPIEGELS! Die vind ik echt heel erg leuk. Ik heb meteen zin om ons toilet te behangen met tropisch behang en dat groene spiegeltje op te hangen. Dat zal er wel niet van komen maar het is wél een leuk idee. #behanggoals
Nog een favorietje is de ondiepe kast met touwtjes ervoor. Mega onpraktisch volgens mij (of je moet een hele collectie platte dingen hebben waar je graag naar wil kijken) maar hij ziet er zó tof uit.

De lage, open kastjes vind ik ook wel heel classy, maar waarschijnlijk zien die er wel snel rommelig uit als je niet zelf een HAY stylist bent. En ik wil nu ook lichtroze radiatoren (zie de blauwe foto met de bank) maar die zal ik toch echt zelf moeten schilderen want die kun je zo niet kopen. Sowieso wil ik álles tegenwoordig in lichtroze, ik weet niet wat ik heb…

Behalve misschien één van de spiegels voor op ons toilet (met of zonder tropisch behang), zit er voor mij helaas niks in deze collectie wat ik nodig heb of waar mijn huis leuker van wordt. Jammer de bammer. Maar als het in oktober in de winkels staat, dan ga ik er wel even heen om overal op te zitten en eraan te voelen. Want het blijft HAY en er alleen al naar kijken maakt me blij.
