Eurovision dinner tip: rainbow pizza!

Ik had gistermiddag een géniaal idee. Het leek me zó leuk om deze week elke dag een Eurovision-gerelateerde blogpost te schrijven en dus verzon ik een paar party snacks voor donderdag (of vandaag want de eerste halve finale is vanavond). Gisteravond maakte ik een heerlijke regenboogpizza maar achteraf had ik misschien iets meer verschillende kleuren moeten gebruiken. Een klein beetje een fail dus, maar hij was wél heel erg lekker, dus hier komt ie:

Ik gebruikte voor mijn regenboogpizza hoofdzakelijk paprika want a) die zitten vaak met drie vrolijke kleurtjes in een verpakking en b) dat vind ik heel erg lekker. Maar bekijk de groente afdeling in je eigen supermarkt eens goed en ontdek je eigen regenboogkleuren. Achteraf was de paarse kleur van een rode ui (die ik wél had gekocht maar niet heb gebruikt, dom, dom, dom) een goede toevoeging geweest.

Naast paprika gebruikte ik ook verse basilicum en mais (geen briljante move want die kleuren had ik al). Ik denk dat ik teveel honger had om helder na te denken…

Voor de basis gebruikte ik een verse pizzabodem, passata (soort luxe tomatensaus), verse tijm & rozemarijn, peper & zout en versgeraspte kaas.

Daarna begon ik met versieren (en gebruikte twee keer groen en twee keer geel, again, gemiste kans) van buiten naar binnen. En voelde me daarbij als een kind op een verjaardagspartijtje voor zesjarigen, geweldig. Mijn pizza ging 10 minuten in de oven op 200 graden.

Tadaaaaaa! Regenboogpizza! Hm, of is het meer een dart bord / bulls eye?

Probleem meteen verholpen door er een minuscuul vlaggetje op te planten. Alles wat een klein nationaal vlaggetje vasthoudt is per definitie Eurovision-waardig toch?

Gouden tip tussendoor: knip je pizza in plaats van snijden, gaat veel beter dan met een wieletje.

Terwijl het water me in de mond liep (ik had inmiddels nog veel meer honger), poseerde ik met mijn regenboog pizza punt door het hele huis. Deze hieronder is mijn favoriet: Hello crazy eurovision pizza eyes!

    Ik vind dat een toffe pizza! Al was die rode ui inderdaad een goede toevoeging geweest. Wij gebruiken altijd een kruidensnijder (zo’n breed bol mes met handvaten erop) om pizza te snijden, ook handig! Maan een schaar heb je gewoonlijk al in huis, een kruidensnijder niet per se …

    Haha nou ik vind ‘m super leuk, ik weet wat ik donderdag ga eten! Rode ui of bietjes (heb je ook in geel en oranje en super lekker op pizza) voor de purple touch!
    Wij vermoorden de pizza altijd met een steakmesje, met van die kartels eraan, tough pizza die daar niet van uit elkaar gaat.
