Room tour: woonkamer!

Het werd hoog tijd dat ik jullie eens écht onze woonkamer liet zien. Want na alle verhuisupdate-filmpjes een tijd terug is dat er nooit van gekomen. En dat is jammer want het is een beauty onze woonkamer. Kom maar kijken!

Ik heb de afgelopen twee jaar flink geschoven met meubels en vooral speelhoekjes en nu staat de boel al een tijdje echt op zijn plek. Het fijne van zo’n ruime woonkamer is dat hij heel flexibel kan zijn. Omdat Tom alweer een hele tijd niet naar opdrachtgevers kan gaan door de corona regels, heb ik mijn werkstation naar beneden verplaatst zodat we boven niet op elkaars lip zitten. En toch staat het niet te vol, heerlijk!

Wat heel lang miste en wat nét binnen is, is een groot beige wollen vloerkleed wat de ruimte samenbrengt. Ik wist steeds maar niet wat ik wilde hebben maar ben uiteindelijk gegaan voor een kleed met veel textuur wat qua kleur heel mooi aansluit op de bank. Zo wordt de grote wegkruip-knuffelbank nog gezelliger en omdat hij wat gemeleerd is, zie je er hopelijk niet te snel kruimeltjes en kattenhaartjes op. ;)

Het wollen vloerkleed 200×300 was een cadeautje van Volero en ik was verrukt over hun aanbod (zie bijvoorbeeld hun top 10 wollen vloerkleden).  Wat ik ook erg handig vond, waren de close-ups van de kleden zodat je kunt zien wat de textuur is én hoe dik het is. Tom heeft namelijk een afkeer tegen dunne kleden en aangezien ik me qua interieur altijd helemaal kan uitleven zonder overleg, wilde ik hem daarin wel tegemoet komen, haha. En gelukkig, echtgenoot en kind zijn ook blij. Happy Confetti Family!

En over dat kind gesproken, iedereen roept altijd hoe dapper wij zijn met zo’n lichtgekleurde bank in combinatie met een peuter. Dus daar wilde ik nog even iets over tippen. Toen we de bank kochten, hebben we hem laten impregneren en er ook meteen een vlekkenverzekering bij gekocht. Zo krijgen we vlekken er meestal zelf wel uit en die ene keer dat hij toch vol met chocola was gesmeerd, kregen we een mannetje met een machtig stoomapparaat op bezoek en hij was zo weer schoon. Tenslotte hebben we altijd een deel ingepakt met een kleedje. Daar drinkt Kiki haar flesje en als we zelf een keer lui pizza op de bank willen eten dan kan dat daar, want wij morsen meer dan onze peuter. ;)

Waar ik ook heel erg blij mee ben is onze Frame tv van Samsung waar kunst op te zien is als hij uitstaat (Kiki is de curator, supermooi), het droom dressoir van Ruijch én de prachtige lamp die ik meesleepte uit Brighton toen we er de laatste keer waren.

En dan Kiki’s speelhoek. Qua meubeltjes heb ik daar iets meer aan uitgegeven zodat het een mooi geheel zou zijn met de rest van de woonkamer. Behalve het houten plankenkastje, die kwam uit onze vorige badkamer toen we verhuisden en bleek een perfecte Montessori speelgoed-houder te zijn. Er staat niet heel veel speelgoed tegelijkertijd uitgestald (de rest staat boven in de kast en wordt regelmatig verwisseld) maar op de vensterbank staat veel waarmee ze aan tafel of op de vloer mee kan spelen als ze wil.

Tenslotte de eettafel. Ik heb lang gezocht naar een bijzondere tafel die groot genoeg zou zijn en waar ik een bijpassend bankje bij kon bestellen. Dat laatste vond ik vooral leuk omdat ons huis een oud schoolgebouw is maar in de praktijk is het geweldig als je kleine kinderen hebt. Kiki zit al heel lang niet meer in haar kinderstoel terwijl ze een heel klein meisje is. Ze kan eroverheen lopen, schuiven en als ik ernaast zit, lekker knuffelen. :)

En dat was dan eindelijk een tour door onze woonkamer. Als je nog vragen hebt (misschien heb je iets moois gezien en vraag je je af waar ik het gekocht heb bijvoorbeeld), stel ze gerust! Van welke kamer in ons huis zou je nog meer een room tour willen zien?
