Alweer bijna een jaar geleden kreeg ik voor mijn verjaardag een floating lijst. Dat is zo een waarbij je door de lijst heen kijkt. Ik had er tot nu toe gewoon een simpel kaartje in, maar bedacht me dat je er veel leukere dingen mee kunt doen!
Het leek mij leuk een quote erin te plaatsen. En dan alleen de letters dus dat de tekst lijkt te zweven. Ik koos een leuk lettertype en printte de letters in outline uit.
Het volgende uur was ik bezig met knippen en snijden. Jeutje…was echt even een werkje!
Eenmaal uitgeknipt plakte ik de letters met een drupje lijm vast op het glas.
Dit om verschuiving en frustratie te voorkomen.
Om te zorgen dat de letters wel echt op een rechte lijn liggen, is het handig een schrijfblok, of zoiets, onder het glas te leggen. Hulplijntjes!
Om de quote wat te benadrukken plakte ik er nog wat confetti bij.
En klaar is ie!|!
Eigenlijk past deze quote veel beter bij Olga, dus misschien moet ik ‘m maar cadeau doen. :)
